All the hinges and latches on the case work.For shipping, it will be well wrapped with plenty of new ½" bubble wrap and shipped in a new 46" by 19" by 7" cardboard instrument box. Comes in the original hard case which is worn on the outside, but pretty nice on the inside with padded purple velvet. Comes with a single smaller-sized unmarked mouthpiece and lyre. All the tuning slides and valves do move and work. The valves do have some wear, but still have musical life left in them. Except for a dented second valve tuning slide, it's in quite good condition. ![]() It can play in low pitch or high pitch, by removing that tuning slide! So, it can played in low pitch (Bb/A) and high pitch (Bb/A). The tuning can be in either A or Bb depending on the master tuning slide position. As far as I can tell, it's either a model 31B. Made by Conn in Elkhart, Indiana in 1928 (serial number 72855), it's a Pan-American. ![]() Travel back in time with this vintage trumpet.
